Watchfield and Shrivenham Scouts

A long established and active Scout group based in Shrivenham. The group caters for you people from ages 6 to 18 from the local villages and the Defense Academy.  Many activities are offered throughout the year, both indoors and outdoors.

Womens Institute

Whether you fancy making new friends or just enjoying a night out once a month, you’ll be more than welcome at the Shrivenham Women’s Institute.
You are sure to fit in, we come in all shapes, ages, and sizes

We meet in the Memorial Hall  on the third Thursday of each month @ 7p.m for 7-30. If you are interested just come along to a meeting, no pressure, just come and see if it is for you.

Shrivenham and District Gardening Club 

This friendly club meets in the Memorial Hall on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm.  You will be very welcome and do not require to be an expert!  Topics vary from a specialised type of flower to general garden advice and interesting travelogues with a gardening bent.  We enjoy an annual dinner, day and weekend trips (often abroad).  Telephone 01793 782070 for more information or simply pop in on the night.
 

Shrivenamblers

Tuesday walks start at 6pm from outside the Doctors Surgery in the High Street and typically last until around 8pm depending on the time of the year.

Saturday walks on the first Sat of the month start at 10am from Martens Road car park and finish around 1:30pm
