Loving April

The Oxfordshire Theatre Company is performing “Loving April”  at the hall on Tuesday 9^th March 2010.  Tickets available from the Parish Office at £8 Adult and £6 Concession.  This will probably be the last time the Theatre Company will be bringing plays to us so let’s get a full house.

“Loving April is a powerful love story about two very different people, worlds apart…………

April lives in a small, rural community in the 1920’s with her mother.  Finding it difficult to fit in with the people in their village, she prefers to spend her time among the wild swans on a nearby riverbank. 

April can’t hear and struggles to speak, but when Barbara Piggot arrives from London with her son Tony, away from their world of privilege and power, it is April who teaches them how to survive.”
