Twinning

Shrivenham is twinned with Mortrée, a commune with some 1,000 inhabitants in Lower Normandy, France. Our links began in 1988 and have seen many interesting trips between the two villages over the years.

Whilst activity has been limited in recent years, we are trying to re-vitalise the relationship with Mortrée.  In 2006 the Mayor of Mortrée paid a visit to Shrivenham.

It is hoped to get Shrivenham School in contact with the school in Mortrée to establish some French/English language links.
