Parish Council

Shrivenham Parish Council is the first tier of local government, representing the community of Shrivenham, Oxfordshire and is working to enhance the quality of life for everyone who lives, works and visits here.

 

We are responsible for a range of local services, community facilities and public spaces, while also representing residents' views on planning, highways, the environment and other issues that affect our parish. Alongside our role as the sole managing trustee of the Viscountess Barrington Trust, we help care for valued recreational and community assets for the benefit of future generations.

 

Our commitment is to serve the parish with transparency, integrity and collaboration. Through open decision-making and active engagement with our community, we aim to support a thriving, welcoming and sustainable place to live.

The office is on the first floor of the Memorial Hall and is open to the public on Tuesday, Wedneday and Thursdays from 0900 to 16:00.  There is no lift, but if you are unable to use the stairs we will arrange to meet with you in a ground floor room, all of which are accessible.

3.
